"One Billion Dollar Question: How can Tanzania stop loosing so much revenue" Report Launched (June 15th, 2012): The One Billion Dollar Question is a product of the study commissioned by the interfaith committee to establish the magnitude of tax revenue losses in Tanzania and to recommend measures to minimize such losses. The report estimates that Tanzania one of the poorest countries in the world is losing around 1 billion dollar in tax revenue annually mostly through tax evasion, capital flight and tax incentives.

NORWAY’S LESSON ON BEING FINANCIALLY “SOVEREIGN” (Frank Thomas, Will Blog for Food, April 12 2010).
There are lessons to be learned from Norway about how countries with substantial mineral resources, for instance those listed at the EITI page, could become financially “more sovereign”.
